Hawthorne Heights start their UK & EU tour this week, in support of the latest album, the band’s first full-length album since 2013 and first release on Pure Noise Records.

You can watch to ‘Bad Frequencies’ here or by clicking the image below.

Speaking on the song and video for Bad Frequencies singer JT Woodruff says ‘One of my favourite places on earth is the California desert. It’s a dream and a nightmare at the same time, which is why I love it. I wrote the lyrics to the song “Bad Frequencies” while waiting on Interstate 5 in traffic for 4 hours.  My dream then turned into a nightmare.  You just have to remember that the nightmare eventually goes away, and you always get back to where you need to be.

Visually, much of the video’s vibe is an homage to some of our favourite music videos we grew up to in the 90’s.   There is a certain amount of mystique to videos from that era that we absolutely love. Other visual inspirations include Twin Peaks and Black Mirror.’

The album was produced by Hawthorne Heights along with Nick Ingram (Hotel Books, Capital House Studio), and mixed by Cameron Webb (Grammy Winner, NOFX, Social Distortion). The band previously worked with Ingram on the Hurt EP as well as Webb for “Push Me Away” which was released last summer ahead of their full run on the Vans Warped Tour.

Hawthorne Heights will also be touring the UK and Europe starting this week.
