Happy New Year

Happy New Year Peeps!

2022 was a crazy year for the industry once again, as challenging as ever and those who dared to tour were faced with a post-pandemic nightmare that proved to be a royal pain in the ass. The war in Europe and spiralling costs with inflation as high as a kite just added to these pressures and a lot of hard decisions had to be made by many bands around the globe.

The backlogs of tours from the lockdowns created what felt like an endless stream of big shows on the go at any given time, but with the average Joe facing serious financial challenges, it meant that somewhere it had to give. Quite often this was for the regional artists who tour the country year in and year out who faced the biggest challenges with Fuel prices through the roof, pre-paid ticket sales really did mean the difference between a tour going ahead or being pulled. So remember folks buy your tickets early to ensure these guys take flight.

A plethora of new music came our way post-pandemic as artists once again could tour and our hearts were filled with music to guide us through yet another turbulent year. So as we venture into 2023 what can we expect? The only thing we can be certain of is more uncertainty! So if you love your music, do what you can to help those artists reach your towns and cities, support local venues, local promoters, and local artists too and take none of it for granted.

Thank you once again for all the love and support throughout 2022, it’s time to remember to start saying 2023.
