GROOM EPOCH release new single ‘Your Name’ on 29th November

Embraced internationally, GROOM EPOCH, is a creative platform for former Church drummer Richard Ploog, who have finished their third album, Initiation. Fellow mainstay musicians Phil Hall, Brett Myers, John Hoey, Cub Calloway, with guesting from Amanda Brown, are responsible for Groom Epoch’s latest shimmering sound.

GROOM EPOCH released the first single from the upcoming album ‘Soft Explosion’ back in August and are set to back it up with a new single ‘Your Name’ which will drop digitally via Golden Robot Records on 29th November.

‘Your Name’ is a swaggering rock song featuring the exceptional talents of guitarist Goo, with help from Australian rock legends Died Pretty. With rich sounds that await the listener, the track explores the affairs of the heart and surrender. Co-produced by Richard Ploog and David Pendragon at Canberra Studios.

Showcasing the diverse talents of singer/songwriter, drummer and producer Richard Ploog, backed by the awesome talents of some of Australia’s most iconic musicians such as Amanda Brown on violin and auto-harp (former Go Betweens), Brett Myers on lead guitar and John Hoey on keyboards (former Died Pretty members), Phil Hall on bass (formerly of the Lime Spiders) and Ash Wanders on rhythm guitar.
