GRAND SLAM JOIN FORCES WITH ROUTE ONE BOOKING FOR LIVE REPRESENTATION

Critically acclaimed debut studio album ‘Hit the Ground’ out now on Marshall Records

Grand Slam today announce they have joined newly established Route One Booking agency for live bookings. The band will be represented by industry veteran Ben Ward and join an ever-growing roster of artists ahead of the return of live music.

Back in the post Thin Lizzy days, Laurence Archer wrote and performed with Phil Lynott as Grand Slam. Sadly, Grand Slam was cut short in its prime, with Phil Lynott’s untimely death leaving a hole in the fabric of rock music to this day. Laurence went on to make his name playing with UFO but always nurtured a long-term plan to rebuild the Grand Slam machine. The debut album was released to widespread critical acclaim in November 2019. Following an acclaimed performance at Ramblin’ Man Fair 2019 and a UK headline tour in late 2019, Grand Slam look forward to hitting the road after the toughest year for live music.

Talking about the new addition, Ben Ward of Route One Booking commented “All of us at Route One Booking are thrilled to add the legendary Grand Slam to our live bookings roster. The bands legacy, recordings and live performances are exactly the type we are looking to work with, and we will respect that legacy by pushing the band to the next level using our years of experience and contacts in the industry. Working in tandem with Marshall Records we look forward to a long and successful future with the band as the world starts to open its doors to live music once again.”

Laurence Archer of Grand Slam added “Grand Slam are very excited to be working with ROUTE ONE, it will a great opportunity to work with the guys in conjunction with Marshall Records to build Grand Slam and our relationship to new heights, just very excited about when we can play live again with ROUTE ONE looking after us. Happy to be in such capable hands.”

‘Hit The Ground’ is available on CD, LP, digitally and also on Limited Edition Gold Vinyl. Order the album HERE.
