NEW ALBUM RELEASES OUT 12.10.18

CITY OF THIEVES – ’Beast Reality’

The buzz has been spreading about City Of Thieves since they made their live debut in 2015.
No frills, no messin’, no gimmicks – just heavy rock in its purest form with no nonsense sledgehammer
riffs, hooks and melodies. Working with artist/producer Toby Jepson (Little Angels, The Answer, The
Virginmarys), frontman/bassist Jamie Lailey knew from the outset that his band wanted to take rock by
the scruff of its neck and give it a shake. “Toby took what we had and refined it. I’m glad we sat back
and digested things with him, as it was a major turning point for the band.” With Jepson at the helm,
Mike Fraser on mix duties and mastering by Simon Francis (Kodaline, Kaiser Chiefs, Primal Scream),
the group’s long anticipated debut album was in the best of hands. With Planet Rock playlist support
for an early EP, plus festival appearances at the likes of Ramblin’ Man Fair, Bloodstock, Camden
Rocks, Hard Rock Hell and Planet Rockstock, City Of Thieves are now ready to get cracking.
These guys aren’t just here to steal your soul for the love of rock n’ roll, they’re here to DEVOUR
it. Tune in, turn it up….we’ll see you down the front.

SEVENTH WONDER – ’Tiara’

Swedish prog metal giants Seventh Wonder are thrilled to finally be releasing their fifth studio album,
‘Tiara’, their first new record in eight years. Says bassist Andreas Blomqvist, “It is finally done and we
couldn’t be happier with it. Tiara is everything you have come to expect from Seventh Wonder, but
with some new flavours in there to keep it interesting. We really didn’t think too much about what
sound we were going for, nor did we have to force it, it all came natural, albeit slow this time around…
We are super proud of this album and we are looking forward to sharing it with you!” Seventh Wonder
was formed in 2000 by Blomqvist, guitarist Johan Liefvendahl and drummer Johnny Sandin, with
keyboard player Andreas ‘Kyrt’ Söderin added late that year. Vocalist Tommy Karevik joined in 2005,
after the recording but just prior to the release of the band’s debut album, ‘Become’. Karevik made
his studio bow with 2007’s well received ‘Waiting In The Wings’, which was promoted via a lengthy
tour on which the band shared stages with the likes of Queensryche, Testament and Redemption.
‘Mercy Falls’ (2008) and ‘The Great Escape (2010) saw the group tour the US as well as Europe,
with Stefan Norgren replacing Johnny Sandin on drums.

CREYE – ’Creye’

Creye was put together by Grand Design guitarist Andreas Gullstrand in 2015. His vision was to start
a new Swedish pop/rock sensation that would take listeners on a journey back to the glory days of
the 80’s, settling on what can be described as a slick melodic rock sound with a retro touch. Having
debuted in 2016 with the well received single ‘Never Too Late’, a three song EP ‘Straight To The Top’
was released the following spring that showcased a mature and evolved sound that serves as the
blueprint for their self-titled first album. While Creye’s music is clearly influenced by the sound of the
80’s, Andreas is no stranger to more modern production techniques. “I’m personally a 90’s kid, but
something has always been very appealing to me about the 80’s and that is subconsciously
expressed through the music. However, we’re more just reintroducing the components of an 80’s
song to a 2018 production with our own touch to it rather than trying to actually write a 80’s song.
We have been working hard to write songs that we truly liked, before everything else.” Anyone into
bands such as Work of Art, Art Nation, One Desire and early H.E.A.T will appreciate Creye and they
are more than ready to live up to the hype generated by their initial single releases.

IMPELLITTERI – ’The Nature Of The Beast’

With so many great metal bands fading away, Impellitteri continue to carry the torch for guitar driven
heavy metal that features powerful operatic vocals, anthemic choruses and brilliant musicianship.
Chris Impellitteri’s guitar playing is majestic and his fretboard wizardry astonishing and fierce, not to
mention influential. Meanwhile, Rob Rock’s vocal performances are sensational and prove that he is
one of the most versatile vocalists in metal today. The rhythm section featuring the monstrous bass
playing of James Pulli and the mind boggling drumming and percussion of Jon Dette create an
addictive groove. The band’s new album features ten new songs and two covers (including a speed
metal version of ‘Phantom Of The Opera’), and was recorded in LA with legendary engineer/producer
Mike Plotnikoff (Van Halen, Aerosmith, In Flames) and Greg Reely (Overkill, Fear Factory, Skinny
Puppy). Like their heroes – Vivaldi, Iron Maiden, Queen, Black Sabbath, Al DiMeola, Paco de Lucia,
John McLaughlin, Pavarotti – Impellitteri strive for greatness, creating, performing and recording their
new music with all four band members contributing equally. The album was made in grand fashion
using major studios with large tracking rooms and vintage analog equipment to capture their live
musical energy and performance to its fullest effect.

CRAZY LIXX – ’Loud Minority’ + two other reissues
Swedish hard rock/metal band Crazy Lixx carry the torch of classic rock ‘n’ roll with pride. Formed in
2002 by singer Danny Rexon, the band has been enthralling crowds with their unique brand of 80’s
influenced hard rock steadily for years. Noted as one of the last bands standing from the ‘The New
Wave Of Swedish Sleaze’ scene, they are pioneers of Sweden’s rock scene in their own right. After
cutting their teeth in the local scene, the band released their debut album, ‘Loud Minority’, for local
label Swedmetal Records. The album became an underground phenomenon in the sleaze/glam
rock scene, but guitarist Vic Zino subsequently left the band to join Hardcore Superstar. Rebuilding
the band around new axeman Andy Zata (aka Andreas Eriksson, now guitar player with British hard
rock sensations Inglorious) Crazy Lixx signed to Frontiers and gained international exposure with
their second album, ‘New Religion’. The equally successful ‘Riot Avenue’ followed in 2012 and saw
the addition of second guitarist Edd Liam as a busy international tour schedule ensued. Two more
studio records, ‘Crazy Lixx’ (2014) and ‘Ruff Justice’ (2017), plus a live album, ‘Sound Of The LIVE
Minority’ have been released since then, with a sixth studio set to follow in 2019. Meanwhile, both
the band and Frontiers were keen to properly reissue their debut album, adding seven bonus tracks,
plus expanded versions of both ‘New Religion’ and ‘Riot Avenue’ that will also be available on vinyl.
