Saturday 1st June
Pioneers of anthemic, guitar-driven hits, The Pigeon Detectives will be supplying an exclusively intimate performance at DM’s Boot Room on Saturday. Headliners of Camden Rocks, the Yorkshire clan have five studio albums to their name along with a host of iconic hits including ‘Take Her Back,’ ‘This Is An Emergency’ and ‘I’m Not Sorry.’
Grungey punk-rockers Milk Teeth will be seizing the iconic Dr. Martens Boot Room on the first day of festival processions. Their most recent single released in December 2018, ‘Stain’ stood its ground amongst punk classics and safeguarded the trio as leaders within the UK punk scene. Vocalist and bassist Becky Blomfield said: “We cannot contain our excitement to be partnering with Dr. Martens for an intimate show during Camden Rocks 2019. The brand embodies everything we stand for in Milk Teeth – promoting equality and self expressions.”
Hotly tipped by NME and BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, The Dunts are storming the Glasgow scene and beyond with vicious yet intelligently energetic punk anthems. Set to release their new single ‘Bad Decisions’ on 17th May, The Dunts performance at DM’s Boot Room will be their first live play of the hugely anticipated, explosive track. Lead vocalist Rab Smith said: “We always enjoy a London gig so we jumped on the chance to play Camden Rocks.”
Manchester’s White Eskimo are all about their infamous live performance, so it’s no surprise their set at DM’s Boot Room is already attracting huge amounts of attention. A culmination of pop-punk and alt rock, the band are ready to hit-up the world famous Camden Town on the first day of Camden Rocks Festival.
Alongside these, punk rockers Sleeze will also be dominating the crowds at DM’s Boot Room this year.
Sunday 2nd June
Famed for shaping the UK alt scene through huge riffs and powerful lyrics, Deaf Havana are gearing up to perform their headline, stripped-back set on Sunday evening at DM’s Boot Room. With a catalogue of guitar driven hits including ‘Sinner,’ ‘Worship’ and ‘Trigger,’ guitarist Matthew Veck-Gilodi said: “Dr Martens are an iconic brand that have a real history with great music and artists so it is an absolute pleasure to be performing for them as part of Camden Rocks! We will be performing an intimate stripped back set and we cannot wait!”
Fresh off the stage of The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, Dr. Martens are delighted to announce that multi-instrumentalist Roe will be hitting the DM’s Boot Room for Camden Rocks this year. With a packed summer ahead of her including support slots with Kodaline, James Morrison and an upcoming Irish Tour, Derry native Roe champions a unique take on electro-pop.
Crafting their way within high energy pop rock, London / Belfast duo REWS are gearing up for their performance at DM’s Boot Room at Camden Rocks on Sunday. Formed by Shauna Tohill and Collette Williams, the pair have been praised by the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stevens and Radio X’s John Kennedy and recently released their critically acclaimed debut studio album ‘Pyro.’
With an epic summer lined up, Lazy Day will be kick-starting their festival calendar with an anticipated set at DM’s Boot Room. Their latest EP ‘Letters’ dropped in April 2019, playing witness to the London indie pack’s lyrical ability and instrumental craftsmanship. Lead vocalist Tilly Scantlebury said: “It’s really cool for us to be playing the Dr. Martens Boot Room for Camden Rocks. The Boot Room is a lot more intimate than venues we normally play, so it’ll be fun for us to experience a different kind of show there.”
South London’s Garage-Glam band Snak Dracula will also be performing at DM’s Boot Room at Camden Rocks Festival, for what is expected to be a full-on explosion of electronic beats verses intricate guitar riffs.
