Fast rising Dead Romantic announce their highly anticipated UK tour for 2022. “We cannot wait to get out on the road. The online response to the singles so far has been insane, we can’t wait to smash them out live and feel the vibes from the fans across the UK.” enthuses captivating and charismatic frontman Dan Taylor, “Every single person who has listened to the songs is a hero to us and we’re really looking forward to sharing our music with them in the flesh!”
With their intoxicating blend of rock, metal and pop hooks, the South Yorkshire based five-piece exploded onto the scene with debut single ‘Yesterday’ which amassed over 1.5 million YouTube views and over a quarter of a million streams on Spotify. Their searing second and third singles ‘Kissed With a Lie’ and ‘Fight Me’ continued the trend to generate over 4.5 million views and half a million Spotify streams combined. Having already hit top 10 on Kerrang! TV and top 20 on Kerrang! Radio, the hard melodic rockers are creating quite a buzz in the rock/metal scene and have swiftly become one of the most exciting new bands coming out of the UK.
Although the modern UK based rock crew are only freshly formed, they have already amassed a dedicated fanbase, and it’s easy to hear why this band has true pedigree. The band consists of lead vocalist Dan Taylor, bass player Chris Horrocks, keyboards Sam Stoddard, Tim Dale on drums along with multi-platinum record producer Mike Krompass handling lead guitar.
Expressing a sound that draws from the heaviest riffs to radio pop sensibilities, the band hit you with a sonic melting pot reminiscent of such acts as 30 Seconds to Mars, Bring Me The Horizon, Foo Fighters, Bad Flower and Architects.
Their forthcoming album ‘Voices’, produced by multi-platinum record producer and guitarist Mike Krompass, which features collaborations with Zakk Cervini (Yungblud, Bring Me The Horizon, Architects), Emmy winner and six time Grammy Nominated songwriter Steve Diamond (Orianthi, Eric Clapton) & mastered by Tim Turan (Bullet for my Valentine, Bring Me The Horizon) will be released in 2022.
The band emphatically states, “We’ve made the record we’ve always wanted to create, completely unchained, raw, filled with the best elements of everything we love about music. We’ve all come from different musical backgrounds that seem to work together. There’s a little bit of pop, a little bit of metal and a lot of rock that we hope can connect with people around the globe.”
Dead Romantic are poised to be one of the breakthrough bands of recent years.
