CKY cancel their appearance at Halloween PTA 2019, RAM announce new bands.

South African powerhouse events company RAM Touring have announced that American hard rock band CKY have had to cancel their appearance at this year’s Halloween party, taking place on the 26th October at Loftus Versfeld Stadium. The band took to social media with the following statement:
Due to circumstances beyond our control, CKY has been forced to cancel our remaining 2019 tour dates including our upcoming South African tour. To our fans in South Africa, we look forward to coming to see you in the future and hope we can get there soon!” With the news coming just weeks away from the event the RAM team have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that they deliver the world class event people have come to expect from them. With the addition of FUZIGISH, Hellcats and Grimehouse to a line-up that already includes local heavy hitters like Fokofpolisiekar, Facing the Gallows, Red Helen, Truth & It’s Burden, PHFATand Shortstraw they’ve done just that.

RAM Touring owner Robert Pereira comments on the ordeal:
It saddens us that a fun and reputable act like CKY won’t be able to make it through to our country anymore. I’m sure it cannot be easy for them to cancel the rest of their shows this calendar year, but I’m sure we will have them on our shores at some point. The show goes on though, and we are extremely happy to have added FUZIGISH, Grimehouse and Hellcats to this year’s Halloween line-up. These are 3 amazing acts and we are super happy with what the final line-up looks like. Let’s get weird!”
