Cinematic Rock outfit ‘Earthside’ surface from recording their long awaited new album to announce they have joined forces with Incendia Music.

What the Media Say about Earthside

“Earthside score highly because their ambition is nothing short of deranged: Mob Mentality would be an extravagant 10 minutes of intricate bombast even without the input of the Moscow Studio Symphony Orchestra, but thanks to this band’s joyous devotion to pulling out all the stops, the wild contrast between bursts of rugged riffing and waves of sumptuous strings makes most similarly inclined fare sound anemic and lazy by comparison.”

–  Dom Lawson, The Guardian

“The arch stands complete and magnificent, a monument to the different voices, tones and efforts that were poured into this creation. It’s hard not to be moved by such a collaboration and move us it does.”

“The most ambitious of debuts”

 – Metal Hammer UK

Cinematic Rock outfit Earthside have momentarily stepped away from recording their long awaited second LP, to announce that they have joined forces with Incendia Music.

The band, who made a monumental impact with their debut offering ‘A Dream in Static’ in 2015, are currently undertaking what is arguably an equally, if not more ambitious second album. New music is set for release in 2020, and Earthside has teamed up with Incendia Music, who will be managing the band going forward. They will join the likes of Voyager, Major Parkinson, Coldbones, Ohhms and more.

Lulu Davis – Owner of Incendia Music, says this about the signing
“I handled the PR for Earthside’s debut album in 2015 and have been in conversation since. I am thrilled to add such a talented band to my Management roster, and am excited about the wide array of possibilities and opportunities that Earthside presents. The intricacies and intensity of the music they produce within their brand of ‘Cinematic Rock’ is nothing short of phenomenal, and I am excited to have the opportunity to take charge of what is set to be a very unique musical career. I can’t wait for the world to bear witness to what they have in store for the next part of their journey.”

‘A Dream in Static’ was a debut offering that won’t be forgotten any time soon. The impact of such an album has maintained recognition and anticipation for the quartet’s forthcoming material, and until this day Earthside are praised for their efforts in what has been described by Metal Hammer as “The most ambitious of debuts”.

Earthside are currently deep into the recording process for their long awaited second LP and promise to enter “daring new territory” in terms of the guests on the album, and the band have spoken to Prog Magazine to provide more details on what fans can expect from the sound in the next issue, due March 5th.

However, Jamie and Ben from the band have alluded to the fact that this second album will “take the cinematic elements of our compositions to new levels”, and that “the orchestral instrumentation has been recorded for most of the tracks on the album”.

Stay tuned for more on Earthside.

About Earthside

Earthside is a New England-based creative collective that plays an absorbing style of modern progressive music they call “cinematic rock.” Across their widely acclaimed debut work, A Dream In Static, the seasoned group displays a wild stylistic diversity and creative hunger that jams the mental machinery of comparison. Through organic layers of living, breathing orchestra (courtesy of the Moscow Studio Symphony Orchestra), and an eclectic arsenal of world music-influenced instrumentation, Earthside fashions an ever-changing sound that is equally engrossing alongside a work of cinematic art as it is resonating throughout a densely packed concert venue.

A Dream In Static, the group’s conceptual mission statement, is a story of purposeful sacrifice and existential yearning told across sweeping instrumental movements interwoven with adventurous vocal compositions featuring guest performances from premier voices across the rock and metal worlds (Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust, Björn Strid of Soilwork, Daniel Tompkins of Tesseract, and Eric Zirlinger of Face The King, Ex-Seer). The inherently collaborative cross-continental project was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden under the watch of renowned producer and mix engineer David Castillo (Opeth, Katatonia, Bloodbath) and additional mix and mastering engineer Jens Bogren (Opeth, Soilwork, The Ocean, Leprous).

Since its release, A Dream In Static has received extensive industry acclaim and Earthside has toured in the U.S., Canada, and Europe with the likes of Soilwork, Soulfly, Leprous, Voyager, VOLA, and Port Noir.

The band was also recognized in 2016 for best music video (Mob Mentality) and keyboard performance (Frank Sacramone) in the North American Independent Rock Music Association’s award ceremony.

Earthside are currently deep into their writing process for their anticipated second album.
