Boston Punks A Crash Republic Release New Single “Last September”

Boston pop-punk trio A Crash Republic have arrived with their latest single “Last September.” The month of September holds quite a bit of significance for the band, both good and bad. For some members, it represents the hopes of getting out of your town and starting a new life at college. For others, it was the darkest month of being in the grips of a drug addiction.

Vocalists Nick Tello and Andrew Sullivan shout lines like “our ghosts from last September just keep knocking at our door” with a Dropkick Murphys-esque gruff that drives the gritty track.

Although we may have been better off before, those ‘ghosts’ that changed our lives remind us what we’ve been through,” Tello says when asked about the song. “They remind us not to simply fade away, but to share our story and what we’ve learned, hoping someone else can get something through that. They remind us to persevere even if we are not currently in the best place.
