Unbelieavbly were here once again, The bands who have fought for a place on this hallowed stage, The Hobgoblin New Blood Stage is hosting the winners of the Metal 2 The Masses competitions and showcasing some of the best young (and not so young) talent out there today in Rock & Metal. It’s so important to support young bands to do what they do, venues are closing, and they need feet on the ground and here today we have a packed out tent in support of these hungry and passionate musicians who have travelled far and wide to represent.

XERO

XERO kick off the Hobgiblin New Blood Stage at Bloodstock 2019 at 10:30 am! No rest for the wicked here as each band has a 30 minute set and a 15 minute turn around time before the next band so its rapid fire but also a short time to maximise your impact here. Thankfully XERO are off to an absolute killer start with a seriously hefty sound, female fronted vocals take the harsh edge off the sound but provide the perfect balance for their sound. A tight ass band with a great sound these kids can fuckin Rock!

Death By Ki

Old school Thrash is the name of the game here, DBK came out swinging from the off and the New Blood faithful appreciated it, thrashing riffs, monstrous drums and bass and gnarly vocals blow the cobwebs off the early risers for The first full day of Bloodstock 2019. A savage set this early in the morning sets a high bar for all to follow, but we know that we have a plethora of killer bands on the New Blood over the next 3 days, if you’re hard enough.

Grand Elder

Grand Elder have a look about them, quirky, individual and i kinda like it. We’re talking crushed velvet, unusually tall bass player and a sound that which has a velvety fuzz all its own. A ballsy kind of band that doent follow the herd but sets its own path and these guys know how to Rock!

Tomorrow is Lost

Female front rock act with a funky backbone, with two guitarists ripping it up either side of the stage TIL are making waves at the New Blood Stage, the crowd really digs them and their brand of riff infested melodic rock makes an immediate impression.
Newcastle based TIL are soaking up every minute of their set here at Bloodstock 2019 and look everybit the part comfortable on the Newblod Stage.
