The man with the plan Belsonic’s event organiser Joe Dougan in front of the now infamous Belsonic stage, the calm before the storm perhaps, the event itself starts getting planned about six months in advance and all that hard work comes to a conclusion this Monday when the gates will be open for the mighty Iron Maiden. The guys are playing one of only two dates in the UK this year and Belfast’s Belsonic plays host after covid and the year that never was robbed us of this opportunity previously. Come Monday night Ormeau Park will be transformed into a Metal Head’s paradise when 15’000 will descend on the grounds to lay their eyes and ears on Maiden once again, post pandemic, post covid hangover and ready to headbang their hearts out to one of Britain’s finest metal bands ever.

 

The stage itself 6 stories high and around 55 metres wide will be rocking over the next while to a plethora of artists, genres, and fans of all ages will be able to enjoy their favourite artists in all their glory courtesy of all the graft that has gone into this magnificent event for all to enjoy.
