Filmed for the Daniel P Rock Show at the BBC Maida Vale studio, Behemoth entered the studio to record a number of tracks that are included on the tour edition of I Loved You At Your Darkest and tie in with the UK leg of their support with Slipknot.

Capturing the striped back atmosphere of this special band as they play in front of no crowd, no pyro just the band, made up with their instruments, yet somehow the feeling given off by this capture of events is as powerful as the live shows in many ways.

Opening with ‘Bartzabel’ and blasting a powerful rendition of this epic track and then cutting to a brief interview with Nergal about the Maida Vale studio as the band’s gear is set up, we soon get to ‘God = Dog’ with its ferocity being captured on drum cams and guitar cams. The sound is perfect and the images are powerfully shot in black and white, what else!

We then cut to HMV for the signing that the band held for the fans and captures the excitement of the fans hat attended and got their items signed before we head back to Maida Vale for ‘Ecclesia Diabolica Cath’. Again, the camera work is as dramatic as the music created and the atmosphere of and created by the sounds of the Polish Black Metallists is displayed perfectly.

We are then transported to the Thou Art Darkest Art Exhibition on Crucifix Lane, where the fans met the band and could look around the art created for the album whilst hearing from the fans about how Behemoth connects with them.

The final track ‘Wolves of Siberia’ wraps up the 4 track recording in huge fashion as the camera pans across the band members to display just how much they put into the music, both physically and emotionally.

The VIP Exhibition is documented next with drove of people in the art gallery and the band mingling with them, discussing the pieces on display and a presentation to the crowd explaining the way that the band work and the direction that the band feel that I Loved You At Your Darkest has taken them.

This 20-minute documentary captures the passion that the band has for the music that they feel is true to them and the music that they make. Reaching an increased audience with the latest few albums, this offering produces an additional insight to this incredible band.
