On their long-awaited full-length record, Blue In The Dark, Bearings has surpassed high expectations with an album that maintains their signature style while pushing beyond anything they’ve done before.

“We went in with the plan of writing a dynamic record and I think we did that. I’ve always loved bands like Jimmy Eat World for not being afraid to try and write a record without boundaries musically. Myself and the guys wanted to replicate that attitude and approach to the writing of the record.” – Doug Cousins

Bearings was formed in 2014 by a group of college friends in a music industry program. The band has previously released 3 EPs, Higher Ground, Home Is… and Nothing Here Is Permanent. With the release of Blue In The Dark, Bearings finds a firm footing amongst the pop-punk’s best new acts.
