Fyre Byrd says of the song: Put Me In A Dress has always been a song for us that we can’t tame. From the songwriting process to playing it as shows to bringing it to the studio, this is the one track that has always stayed the same. It’s a reflection on this part of us that we try to contain. The part that we try to change to suit others but in essence is what makes us unique. When it comes to our sound we stay true to that and let the songs speak for themselves.
Take Me Out was about trying to find ourselves, Anywhere I Am Is Home spoke to finding home and accepting who we are and PMIAD is a reminder to not tame what makes us unique”

The bands Take Me Out tour, named after their first single, saw them play 27 dates around Australia with many of those being sold out headline shows. Over the past 9 months, the band have opened for Andrew Stockdale, Skid Row and Living Colour.

Most recently Fyre Byrd opened for Nothing But Thieves on both of their sold-out Australian shows and were asked back for the last minute sold out show in Sydney.

ABOUT FYRE BYRD
Fyre Byrd is fronted by vocalist/guitarist Josh and female drummer Daniella.
Formed in 2017, the band have already made serious ground with their fresh approach, blending classic songwriting with Josh’s distinctive vocal sound and wired modern guitar on top of Daniella’s animalistic, hard-hitting drums which is so dynamic and incredible to watch live.

After being scooped up with a worldwide recording deal by Golden Robot Records (GRR), they recorded 5 tracks in Sydney. Their debut single “Take Me Out” peaked at number 9 on rock charts across US radio networks, and hit 10,000 streams on Spotify within the first month of its release.
