“With a debut album set sometime for the summer, dim promises to bring an LP of their brand of emotional pop-rock, one that will make the world seem anything but dim.”- Hollywood Life
“What happens when you mix former members of The Dangerous Summer and Woe, Is Me? A calming emo outfit with an angsty metalcore edge? No, not even close. In the case of emerging Atlanta act dim – you get a riveting pop-influenced group with soothing rock sounds similar to the likes Emarosa, The Spill Canvas and Have Mercy.”- The Noise
Atlanta’s dim delivers an energetic and emotional pop-rock sound that feels like a sucker punch to your heart.
Featuring singer Matt Mulkey (Young Mountain, MOLEKEY, ex-Woe Is Me), drummer Ben Cato (ex-The Dangerous Summer), and guitarists Nick Lowry & Charlie Pinkard – dim have come together to be “the light into the dawn” during the confusion and chaos of this modern world.
The band’s new song “Piece It Together” appears on their upcoming debut LP “from dark to light we’ll see” out July 16.
Mulkey says, “Piece It Together is a song about reality – we’re all in this life together, all going through things, all figuring it out no matter what’s going on, and all operating with our own free will – while we are separate individuals, we are all one within the same existence.”
