FFO stoner, doom, sludge, NOLA rock and metal
“Emergent UK imprint APF Records continues to gobble up countrymen sludge outfits…. The imprint quickly moves into setting the standard for sludge mayhem coming out of the British Isles” – THE SLUDGELORD
APF Records, based out of the United Kingdom, caters to doom, stoner and sludge metal. But the fact
that the label is young means absolutely nothing when they’ve released albums from heavyweights such as Mastiff, Under, Diesel King BongCauldron. And that’s just to name a few. Basically, wherever the riffs are heavy, loud and thick is where you’ll find APF and they’re growing by leaps and bounds. One look at
their Bandcamp page and the amount of releases since March is impressive – NINE CIRCLES
APF continues to provide the UK’s fervent and varied sludge scheme the home it deserves – THE
APF Records has been doing so well in the UK sludge / stoner / doom underground, releasing a ton of
fantastic albums from burgeoring talents in a variety of formats. – ASTRAL NOIZE
APF Records is hosting a special show at The Bread Shed in Manchester UK on 1st February, featuring 14 of its current active signed bands playing across two stages.
Founded by Andrew Field in March 2017 APF Records has released albums, EPs and singles by A Horse Called War, Barbarian Hermit, Battalions, Under, Desert Storm, Diesel King, Blind Haze, Gandalf The Green, Mastiff, The Wizards Of Delight, Tronald, The Hyena Kill, Nomad, RedEye Revival, Pist, Ba’al, Possessor, The Grand Mal, Trevor’s Head, Trippy Wicked and the Cosmic Children of the Knight, BongCauldron and Widows during its first three years.
The label already has releases lined up for 2020 by Voidlurker (new EP “Industrial Nightmare out 31st Jan), Video Nasties (debut album “Dominion” out 13th March), Beggar (debut album “Compelled To Repeat lands 4th April) and Desert Storm (new album “Omens” out 1st May),
Due to the logistical challenges of getting 14 bands in one place at once this is likely to be the only time this lineup will play in one place on one day. Thus advance tickets have been moving fast and the event (at the 400-capacity venue) is predicted to be a sell-out.
Doors open at 1pm with the first band performing at 1.30pm. The event will finish 10 hours later when PIST headline the main stage.
