Dragged Under – “Suffer” (Official Music Video)

Dragged Under have revealed the official video for “Suffer,” one of the colossal stand-out tracks from their latest studio album ‘Upright Animals’ – out now on Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group. You can watch the video for the track HERE. They will also be touring the UK and Europe from March to May playing shows with The Ghost Inside and Landmvrks as well as festival appearances on Impericon and Slam Dunk. Tickets available HERE.

The bands UK dates include a five-date run supporting The Ghost Inside;  29 Mar – O2 Institute Birmingham, 30 Mar – O2 Ritz Manchester, 31 Mar – SWG3 Galvanizers Glasgow, 2 Apr – Rock City Nottingham and 3 Apr – SWX Bristol. They will also be playing Slam Dunk on 27 and 28 May.

Talking about “Suffer” singer Tony Cappocchi shares, “Suffer’s message is pretty simple, it’s about asking someone to suffer or be uncomfortable for you, because that’s really the test of any relationship. It’s about how you navigate the hard times that define the strength of your connections. We’re really excited about the release of the suffer video. We worked with Monte, who was the director for Brainwash Broadcast and All of Us and is a rare talent with exceptional creative vision. Always a great time working with him. We love this song and think it deserves a video, which couldn’t have come at a better time as we’re about to go back to Europe to tour with our friends in The Ghost Inside and play one of Europe’s biggest traveling fests!”

The band had an incredible 2022. They released Upright Animals via Mascot Records in the summer and toured UK and Europe for the first time in the summer, which included a headline run of dates, playing explosive sets at Download festivalHellfestFull Force as well as supporting The Ghost Inside at O2 Brixton Academy, London. They played US shows with Sleeping with Sirens, Pierce the Veil, 10 Years, From Ashes to New as well as several headline runs and festivals across North America.

When you strip everything else away, we rely on our animal instincts to survive. In the face of danger, we either flee or fight without hesitation. No matter how many perceived differences exist between us, we breathe the same air, drink the same water, and eat the same way to subsist. Dragged Under naturally harness this primal power in their hard-hitting hybrid of punk, rock, metal, and hardcore. Choosing to progress, the Seattle quintet—Tony Cappocchi [vocals], Ryan Bruce [guitar], Sean Rosario [guitar], Hans Hessburg [bass], and Kalen Anderson [drums]—sharpen their claws, teeth, and style on their second full-length album, Upright Animals.

With animalistic energy, Dragged Under charged out of the gate in 2020 on their debut The World Is In Your Way. The album generated streams in the tens of millions and earned widespread critical acclaim. Beyond plugs from Loudwire, New Noise Magazine, and more, KERRANG! hailed it as “nine tracks of the edgiest, most in-your-face punk in recent memory – loaded with underdog appetite and energy,” and Alternative Press named it one of the “20 Debut Albums That Took Metalcore to the Next Level in 2020.” Along the way, they toured alongside everyone from The Used to Beartooth. During 2021, they recorded what would become Upright Animals with frequent collaborator Hiram Hernandez [Jared Dines, Craig Owens] in Los Angeles and Matt Good [Hollywood Undead, Asking Alexandria] in Phoenix.
