July 23, 2021 (Nashville, TN) –  Country artist Tucker Wetmore releases new summer single “Another Shot.” The single is now available on all digital streaming platforms.

Following his electric debut single, “Kiss My A$$”, breakout country artist Tucker Wetmore is gracing us with his newest summer 2021 single- “Another Shot”, guaranteed to make you want to head to the nearest downtown bar and dance the night away (after a shot or two, of course). Lyrics from “Another Shot” include: “I’ve been trying my best to get you off my mind/But I find myself spending all my time in this bar/Not getting too far.” Don’t let the lyrics fool you, however. “Another Shot” is upbeat, summery, buoyant, and perfectly fitting to be the next country radio hit.

With Wetmore’s charismatic country charm, Morgan Wallen-esque melodies, and smooth Southern twang, he is an artist you will definitely need to keep your eyes out for. Wetmore, a former Montana college football player, is not your average run-of-the-mill country artist. Following a football injury that destroyed his dreams of going pro, Wetmore found himself back home in small-town Washington, where music and songwriting became his refuge, and luckily for us, it paid off.

Wetmore’s raw talent, level of craft, and proximity to Nashville have also scored him the opportunity to collaborate with some of music city’s top-tier producers which also contribute to the professionally polished nature of “Another Shot.” Everyone knows that people only want to work with you when they’ve seen that you’ve really got something to say to the world and as Wetmore continues to grow his catalog, it’s apparent that his adventurous and ever-growing style still has many rides to take us on. Be on high alert for any shows in your area where you can catch Wetmore rocking the crowd.

Tucker Wetmore knows his way around a country song. His own life has unfolded like one, from his small-town childhood in the rural American Northwest to his time playing college football in Montana. When an injury dashed his hopes of going pro, Wetmore headed back home to Kalama, WA — population: 2,700 — and picked up his guitar, funneling his feelings into original songs that mixed country storytelling with modern melodies. Less than a year later, he moved to Nashville to begin chasing down his own version of the American Dream, sharpening his unique country sound with help from collaborators like Grammy-winner Chad Brown and co-producer Jesse Thompson.

“We’ve got a little bit of love, a little bit of God, a little bit of honky-tonk, and a little bit of alcohol,” Tucker says of his songs, which blend his baritone vocals with Telecaster twang, singalong hooks, chip-on-your-shoulder charisma, and the roll-up-your-sleeves determination of a Gen Z powerhouse who understands the value of hard work. A star athlete since childhood, Tucker first learned about perseverance on the playing field. He excelled at football, baseball, and track, earning four state championships during his senior year and setting a new state record in pole vault. Music provided a source of comfort and clarity throughout the journey, offering answers whenever Tucker found himself at a turning point.

“I started playing piano when I was 11 years old, after my dad left,” he remembers. “Looking back, I realize I was looking for something to help me cope with some built-up emotions. Since then, music has always been my therapy. I see how much it has changed and affected my life, and if I can help at least one other person in a similar way, that would be more than enough for me.”

Like Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen, Tucker is a member of the modern-day Spotify generation — a 20something songwriter whose musical tastes are all-encompassing, influenced by genre-jumping playlists and the ever-expanding sound of country radio. He embraces that diversity in songs like the barreling “Kiss My A$$” and the country hymn “Dear Lord,” creating music that nods to his influences while still stepping forward into uncharted territory. This isn’t your grandfather’s country music, in other words. It’s country music for the modern world.

With magnetic charm and melodic songwriting, Tucker Wetmore is striving to make a connection. To change someone’s life. From the football field to the stage, he’s always brought dedication and drive to his work… and these days, that work is sounding like a country star on the brink of a breakthrough.
