Gavin Lee Debuts New Video, “Friend With A Beer”

Video Now Available on Youtube

(Nashville, TN) – Gavin Lee’s new video, “Friend With A Beer” is available today on his Youtube channel.  The track is all about good times and good vibes and is releasing just in time for Summer.  Gavin wrote the song with noted Nashville tunesmiths, Will Rambeaux (Faith Hill, John Michael Montgomery, Blake Shelton) and Sherrie Austin (Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton).  Gavin describes the track as, “Bad Ass” and said they wrote the song, “referring to the lifestyle of the easy going, everyday American, and how we have everyday American problems, but in the end often just wish we had a Friend with a beer.  At the Time I was going through a rough patch in my life with Coronavirus shutting down the touring business and I wished that I could just have a beer with a friend that would listen to my problems.”

Since then Gavin’s taking his time off of the road to really work on his songwriting and finding and recording songs that are true to him.  He’s been in the studio with famed producer, Bill McDermott (Brett Eldredge, Tim McGraw, Vince Gill) and is really excited about the new music, he’s recording and can’t wait to share it with fans.

Gavin teamed up with director, Lance Goodman, to shot the video in Michigan at a little Tavern down the road from Gavin’s home.  When describing the shoot, Gavin says, ” It is a fun video with a lot of good times and laughter.  These are real people, doing real things.  What I enjoyed the most from shooting this video was getting my group of friends together and having a couple of beers.  Also watching everyone enjoying being a part of the video shoot was great to see.

About Gavin

Raised in Fort Myers, Florida, Gavin Lee discovered his love for music at a young age. His mom always had music playing while Gavin was growing up – everything from Classic Rock to Country and Pop. He taught himself to play guitar at age ten and began taking professional lessons in high school as a way to cope with his parents’ divorce. After attending a Lynard Skynard concert as a sophomore in high school, Gavin knew he was destined to perform on stage.

Following his graduation from high school, Gavin attended Fort Myers Technical College, where he earned his degree in welding. Never losing sight of his dream to become a country music star, Gavin packed up his life in Florida and headed to Music City.

Since moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 2017, Gavin has released four singles – Old Chevy, Gone Fishin’, Dixie Dreamin’ and Millionaire in Mexico. His sound has been influenced by traditional 90’s country artists, as well as the likes of Jason Aldean, Riley Green, and Luke Combs. His down-home, dirt-roads and hardworking man identity, coupled with a big heart and endearing smile has gained Gavin an enormous grassroots following.  “I want to be a singer-songwriter that is successful and respected by my peers,” he explains.

In the fall of 2018, Gavin lost his step-father, who was a pivotal figure and mentor to Gavin, to Leukemia. A huge turning point in his life, Gavin used songwriting as a means to escape and heal.

When he’s not playing music, Gavin enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time on the lake with family and friends. He is also an avid hockey and baseball fan, playing both sports throughout
