Calling All Homebodies! ACORN’s New Single Is For You
(Nashville, TN) – Country-songstress-turned-pop-sensation ACORN has released “Anti-Social” as her latest single. This guitar-driven anthem for homebodies serves as the follow-up to February’s “Space.” Both songs are available on all digital download and streaming platforms now.
With a celestial swell, the intro to “Anti-Social” takes you straight to synth heaven. Before listeners can get too comfortable, the verse comes in hot with an arresting guitar riff. Like the true genre-rebel she is, ACORN ditches the raspy rock sound in the chorus and unleashes the clear, crisp, full range and force of her voice.
Not one for small talk, ACORN gets straight to the point, letting everyone know that she’d rather chill on the couch at home than watch a bartender pour her another drink in a room full of unfamiliar faces. After all, no amount of alcohol can take the edge off her anxiety. In the gripping grunge-pop hook, she drives home the conceit of the song: she’s not just being emotional — she’s anti-social.
Though she may at times feel uncomfortable in a crowd, ACORN certainly knows how to keep an audience entertained. Between the exhilarating twists and turns and the relatable lyrics, “Anti-Social” has all the makings of a bonafide hit.

Biography: ACORN, born Alexandria Corn, is an up-and-coming pop-country singer-songwriter. Born and raised in upstate New York, Corn has always had a passion for performing. It’s what drove her to move to Los Angeles after her audition for the hit TV show “American Idol” yielded a golden ticket to Hollywood. Though she’s currently based in Nashville, Corn has performed at venues all across the country. She has shared stages with many iconic artists, including Toby Keith, Frankie Ballard, Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Dan and Shay, Cam, Lucie Silvas and Granger Smith. She’s also opened for Jake Owen, Chris Janson, Lee Brice, Jerrod Neimann, The Swon Brothers and Honey County.
During quarantine, Corn decided she wanted to take a different approach to her musical career. Embracing her passion for pop, she has spent countless hours transforming her look and sound in order to become ACORN. “Bitch,” her first single under her new moniker, reached 100,000 streams in its first month. The Bang Energy drink brand ambassador is currently writing and releasing one song a month for her new project.
