Biography: Phillip Michael Parsons is a singer/songwriter with Southern Maryland roots, who in a short time has made waves as an up-and-coming artist to watch. In 2018, he was nominated for Best Country Artist and performed at the Maryland Music Awards. He has performed over 200 shows in 25 states across the country playing alongside artists such as Chris Janson, Chris Lane, Gavin DeGraw, Craig Campbell, Sundance Head, and Jimmie Allen. Phillip refers to his fans as “family or fam” as they have truly been there for every step of his journey and he knows he wouldn’t be what he is without their support. He writes his music for them – telling stories of real-life experiences and down-to-earth emotions and mixes them with high-energy shows to give people a break from the lives they lead. When not on the road, he spends quite a bit of his time collaborating and writing with other artists in Nashville. His latest single, “Breakin’ My Own Rules” was co-written with award-winning hit songwriters Clay Mills III (“Beautiful Mess”), Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean), and Mike Krompass (Smashmouth, Nelly Furtado) and produced by Krompass and Redmond, the multi-platinum production team at 1225 Entertainment. Phillip has also been in the studio with Brothers Osborne’s Adam Box, producing his next wave of music! |
