Testament - 'Live at Eindhoven' (Re-issue) - Album Review

For Metal fans of a certain vintage this is quite possibly the soundtrack from your youth. When this first hit the streets it was one of the best live albums around. It just epitomised the power of one of the best Thrash Metal bands around at the time and still to this day.

It is a no holds barred thrashfest from start to finish with such classics as ‘Disciples of the Watch’, ‘The Haunting’, ‘Apocalyptic City’, ‘Over the Wall’ and more. It still rough as a badger’s arse sound-wise, but to some it is what it was all about back in the day. Fast, furious and unforgiving.

Testament have gone on to cement their place in the Thrash Hall of Fame and rightly so, as they have continued to turn out masterful music to this day. But this is when they were quite possibly at their best and why so many will enjoy this nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Testament Live at Eindhoven reissue is out Jan 26th Via Nuclear Blast.
