The One-Man Blues Rock Band says it all: Steve Hill optimises just that. He’s an enigma, a brut force in your face bluesman that does it all, Canadian born and highly regarded for his graft in his homeland he’s considered “an overnight success twenty years in the making.”  You just hear that for yourself with his latest offering The One-Man Blues Rock Band which is available now via Manhattan Records.

Fourteen bitchin’ tracks laid down as only Steve knows how, raw and unapologetic in their gritty unadulterated beauty. Featuring some of Steve’s classic all our rocking tracks like ‘Damned’, ‘Dangerous’ and ‘Rhythm All Over’ along with three re-imagined covers including ‘Voodoo Child’ you get a no holes barred performance from Mr Hill that would make even the finest Bluesman weep.

Emotive tracks like ‘Tough Luck’ and ‘Nothing New’ bring out Steve’s soulful side and have a worldly quality that years of dogged determination and miles on the road bring to a quality musician like Steve Hill. The album wraps up beautifully with two killer numbers in ‘Dangerous’ and ‘Voodoo Child’ to whet the appetite for an in your face up close and personal opportunity to catch the man in the flesh.

That said Steve is currently touring the UK with the mighty King King and Danny Bryant, you can still take advantage of a few select gigs before he heads across the pond, check out the dates below.
