Toronto based Alt-Rock band Selfish Things have dropped their latest offering Vertical Love in the form of a six track angst ridden beauty.

Punchy and hard hitting from the off the EP opener ‘8147 Mulholland Terrace’ just grabs you and doesn’t let go. A melodic powerhouse the EP flows effortlessly and also ‘Without You’ an acoustic diversion mid EP you get a greater sense of the quality of the song writing on hand. A melancholy feel follows with ‘Five Years’ before the guys lift the energy once again with ‘Hangman’ before wrapping things up with the emotive ‘1435.’

A fine EP from this Canadian quartet, Selfish Things should be on your radar.

Vertical Love is out now via Wolf At Your Door Records.
