The 40-year-old veterans came together under the title Riot and, in tribute to the passing of founding member Mark Reale in 2012, Riot became Riot V, and utilising the vocal range now provided by new frontman Todd Michael Hall, they bring us their 16thstudio album.

For a band that have been around for 16 years, they have clearly been doing things right for such longevity, and this release is sure to continue the run. With their brand of Power Metal with quick beats, screaming guitars and soaring vocals, this album feels like it wants to guide you into battle.

The up-tempo tracks provide a feeling of riding on a wave of invisibility as you raise your goblet of ale and march on wearing their Armor of Light.

It is a sure-fire feel-good Power record that continues the incredible run of fantastic releases that continues to both push themselves whilst also inspiring others.
