Prog-Rock five-piece, Halo Tora release the first of A two-part concept album, Man of Stone: First Chapter on April 6th.

A self-released project funded by the national lottery through Creative Scotland, see’s this Glaswegian quintet get their heads down to create a thought provoking recording to further bolster their already impressive reputation.

Engaging melodies fused with technical prowess make for a sublime collection of recordings. Tracks like ‘Always The Last To Know’ have a strong and highly addictive backbone to the melody which make it them to ignore. ‘Fractured’ has a more contemplative and emotive quality, which showcases the quality of song writing within Man Of Stone.

The EP as a whole doesn’t stray too far into the Prog side of Rock and keeps a pretty mainstream course throughout, whilst hinting at the talent and quality that lies within. Beautifully written and executed the talent is there for all to see and Man Of Stone: First Chapter whets the appetite for what’s to come.

Man Of Stone: First Chapter is released April 6th
