Divide - 'Embers' - Album Review
10Overall Score
Reader Rating: (0 Votes)

Divide dropped their latest offering Embers on November 24th and it is a cracking collection of catchy, rockin’ tunes that is the perfect playlist to shake off a shitty day working for the ‘Man.’ It’s easy to make comparisons to the likes of Paramore with this Glaswegian quintet led at the front by the beautiful Nicole Mason on vocals, but that would be unfair. Divide offer a harder, grittier take on their melodic and compelling song writing.

Each track delivers; Mason’s vocals mesh beautifully with the slamming guitar riffs and huge melodies. Embers should be the catalyst for bigger and better things ahead for these crazy kids. They hit the road to dovetail the release early 2018, so catch them while you can.

Divide will hit the road in the UK for a February headline tour. Support comes from All Ears Avow and Junior.
