Northern Irish one-man Slam machine Connor Brown, also known as Debridement, brings us the latest instalment of Grind laden, Brutal Death metal which as the title might suggest, isn’t for the weak of heart.
After releasing two Ep’s this is the debut full length for the guitarist from Oncology and the next step to display the incredible talents that he can offer the world of Brutal Death Metal and Slam. Using comical samples to balance out the obscene nature of the title tracks and the outrageously heavy music and vocal, there is the perfect blend to make this extremely enjoyable to listen to.
The 10 tracks share the 29 minutes of fun, intense, riffy yet extremely catchy rawness as the brutality of the release smashes you in the face with a hammer whilst putting a huge smile on your face.
This clearly is not for everyone, in fact it’s not for the majority, however for fans of the Brutal Death Metal scene it is exactly what you are after. There is enough variety to differentiate between tracks whilst keeping the pace high, the slams heavy and the entertainment through the ceiling.
The energy in the album oozes like puss from a weeping wound, disgusting yet highly satisfying, as this one-man project makes a massive impression in the underground scene.
