Dante from Perthshire, Scotland have been on the scene now for nearly a decade, I Wear Your Weight With Mine is their sophomore LP and is a feel good, melodically rich beauty, perfectly packaged and ready to devour. A band steeped in a rich Acoustic-Folk background their beautifully penned tracks just resonate immediately.
There is a quality deep within that just grabs and pulls you deep into the emotive undertone of the album, the charm of Sean McLaughlin’s vocals which carry his Scottish accent throughout, just add weight to an already alluring combination.
The songwriting is first class from start to finish and no second play is required to establish that, the album ebb’s and flows seamlessly as it carries you on a sonic journey through the hearts and minds of this delightful sextet.
A classy follow up to 2013’s Wake, I Wear Your Weight With Mine is a delicacy to be enjoyed by all.
I Wear Your Weight With Mine is released March 9th Via Stitch Records.
