When a band are named after an act of mutilation inflicted on another, you expect a level of aggression in the music they produce and when you throw this in with band difficulties which lead to line up changes, you could even expect this to lead to rage, which describes this album perfectly.
New vocalist Tom Barber provides the aggressive narration to match the crushingly huge Deathcore mixed with Technical Death Metal, blended with Hardcore and a hint of Metalcore to produce some outrageously heavy sounds that must be heard to be truly believed.
The vocals mix between deep growls and screams, depending on the style of passion that is splattered all over the album and the musicality is heavy and tight, using powerful, punchy guitars and a drum kit that must look like the smattering of blast beats has destroyed the kit after each use.
From start to finish this album beats you to a pulp and its hard to remember an album that is as enjoyable, heavy, dark and brilliant to listen to. From the first listen to as this is written there are no stand out tracks as the album its self is a huge stand out, mixing styles, sounds and pace this album is a brutal monster.
