Pop Punks latest offering had arrived in the form of Arborview. Formed just last year the Australian trio found themselves signed with LA label We Are Triumphant Records in January and have now released their first EP Through The Storm.

The 6 track EP is pop punk through and through with its catchy hooks and chord ridden riffs. Each track is infectious to listen to and will definitely find itself on repeat. ‘Stormy Weather’ is the perfect anthem from the EP and was the first single to be released this year. It embodies everything that this genre is all about. Another outstanding track is ‘Fade’ which has a high energy chorus backed by drummer Alex Powy’s aggressive playing style. But it’s the opening track ‘Scotty Goes to The Studio’ which sets this apart from other EPs as it’s a clip of lead vocalist and guitarist Scotty Berger answering his phone in the studio. This clip just gives a personal feel to the band and let’s you slip just a little bit into their world beyond the music.

These guys are another great Australian pop punk band which appear to be on the rise of late as they join other great bands such as Stand Atlantic. This new wave coming out is exciting and definitely worth checking out and watching for their futures.
