Formed in 2013 and hailing from Greece here we have the debut full length release from Nigredo, which is a cracking blend of Black Metal with Thrash and Death Metal mixed in to create what ends up as an intense and enjoyable album.

There is an underlying groove with its adrenaline powered pace with unconventional structure blurring the lines between sub genres of Metal.

The fiercely intense drums are matched with speed and power of the guitars and topped with intense, strained vocals to engage and intrigue as to where they are headed next. Every twist and turn, beat change and guitar note is heard clearly with very crisp production blasting the senses to perfection.

From start to end this is an 8 track, 42-minute jackhammer of an album that gets better with each listen and the future looks very exciting for the Greeks.
